On the fateful morning of September 11, 2001, 33-year-old equity trader Stephen Mulderry left a heartfelt message for his mother, Anne, as people began falling from the World Trade Center.

Remembering Stephen Mulderry

Stephen Mulderry, a former point guard for the University of Albany, was one of the many victims who perished in the terrorist attacks. Teammates and coaches fondly remember his dedication on the court.

One of Stephen's teammates, Peter Mulderry, spoke to him on the phone as the fire in the North Tower raged. Stephen described the horrifying scene he witnessed from his office window.

Other heart-wrenching calls made by victims that day include: Brian Nunez to his brother, Neal Green to Tom McGinnis, and Stephen Mulderry to his mother.

At 8:45 AM New York time, Stephen Mulderry, a young man with boundless potential, became part of the tragic history of 9/11.

Stephen Vincent Mulderry (1992 - BA Rhetoric Communications) was a talented athlete who advanced from the junior varsity squad to the starting lineup for the University at Albany in Albany County, New York.

His legacy lives on through the memories of those who knew and loved him, serving as a reminder of the tragic loss suffered on that fateful day.
